that was using a 20:1 Extract of Hoodia Gordonii as one

This
is absolutely incorrect. Hoodia has been around since
God created the Heavens and the Earth. It has been used
for thousands of years by tribes like the San Bushmen
of the Kalahari.
Several years ago a group of South African Scientists
discovered that the plant contained a previously unknown
molecule, which they dubbed "P57".
They sold the rights to their research to the British
Pharmaceutical company called Phytopharm which developed
a extract of the plant and began clinical trials.
In 1998, the Pfizer corporation took interest in the product
and reportedly paid in the neighborhood of up to $32 million
for the right to the research from Phytopharm source.
On 15 Dec 2004, Phytopharm and Unilever announced a joint
effort to continue research and development on Hoodia
Gordonii Extracts.
The Hoodia Gordonii plant can take several years to grow
in the wild and because it is a rare plant which grows
in the wild, a number of growers saw the commercial potential
in this plant and setup farms whereby they began to commercially
develop the rare plant in order to be able to provide
sustainable quantities of the material to consumers.
It is important to buy from a company that is not shy
about providing a copy of their Certificate of Analysis
which will prove the country of Origin of their source
